February 18, 1676 -- Dorcas Hopkinson was born at Rowley, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony
May 29, 1704 -- date of Dorcas Hopkinson Spofford's father's, John Hopkinson's, will. John's will mentioned his wife Elizabeth, eldest son Jeremiah, youngest son John (under age), daughter Dorcas [Hopkinson] Spofford, daughter Elizabeth [Hopkinson] Jewett, and daughter Ann (under age). (Essex County Probate 308:256). [1]
