January 7, 1646/47 -- John Hopkinson was born at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. [1][2]
June 8, 1670 -- John Hopkinson and Elizabeth Pearson married at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. [3]
1673 - 1692 -- John and Elizabeth Pearson Hopkinson had six children: daughters (Dorcas, Elizabeth, and Ann) and sons (John 1, Jeremiah, and John 2). [4]
May 29, 1704 -- John Hopkinson died at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts Province. [5]
May 29, 1704 -- date of John Hopkinson's will. John's will mentioned his wife Elizabeth, eldest son Jeremiah, youngest son John (under age), daughter Dorcas [Hopkinson] Spofford, daughter Elizabeth [Hopkinson] Jewett, and daughter Ann (under age). (Essex County Probate 308:256). [6]
