Identity of Spouse

Mary Hopkinson married James Palmer who was the brother of Richard Palmer who married Mary's sister Jane. This is supported by the will of John Hopkinson of Buxton, Maine written in 1782 (probate 1784) which includes a bequest to his daughter Mary Palmer.[1]

Biography

Mary married James Palmer son of Andrew Palmer and Jemima Hardy at Bradford on 15 Mar 1764.

James Palmer, born September 2, 1735, died before 1820, probably in Londonderry, NH; married Mary Hopkinson 17 Mar 1764, in Bradford. She was born 27 Jul 1735, in Bradford.
