Biography

Arthur was born in March 1895 in Monkwearmouth, Durham, England.^[1]

When Arthur was 33 he married Eleanor Richardson in September 1928 in Ulverston, Lancashire, England. The couple had 4 children: Giles Hopkinson, Benjamin Hopkinson, Katharine L Hopkinson and Elizabeth Ann Hopkinson.^[2]

Arthur died at the age of 58 on 30 August 1953 in Aislaby Vicarage, Whitby, Yorkshire North Riding, England.^[1][3][4]
