Biography

Abiah Hopson was born April 24, 1789 in Norwich, Windsor County, Vermont. Abiah is the daughter of John Hopson and Abiah Hazen. Abia dies on March 12, 1869 in Randolph, Orange County, Vermont.

Abiah marries first to Levi Barker. Levi was born unknown and died February 26, 1835.

Abiah marries second to Joel Eddy. Joel Eddy was born on Dec. 29, 1778 at Stafford, Tolland County, Connecticut, USA. Joel died on June 29, 1871 in Randolph, Orange County, Vermont, USA

Joel Eddy was first married to Sarah (Sally) McKinstry born abt 1783. She died 28 Sep. 1834 in Randolph. They had 9 children together. Joel married second to Abiah Hopson. Joel Eddy is the son of Jonathan Eddy and Mercy Cady.
