The following sepulchral memorials are from a MS. in the British Museum, the reference to which being lost, the churches in which they exist cannot be stated: -

"John Hord and Alice his wife, daughter of William Buckley, of Watecroft, in com. Chester, Esq."

"Arms: Hord impaling Buckley.

"(g) Harl. MSS. 1983, p.39."
