Henry George was born about 1818 in Margate, Kent, England[1][2][3] and baptised 26th April 1818 at St. John the Baptist, Margate, Kent, England, the son of William Horn (labourer) & Mary Horn of Margate[4] .

Henry George married Sarah Ann Phillpott on the 4th September 1848 at the Cavendish Chapel, Ramsgate, Kent, England. Henry George Horne, bachelor, shoemaker of King Street, Ramsgate, son of William Horne (Porter) and Sarah Ann Phillpott, spinster of King Street, Ramsgate, daughter of Richard Phillpott (Mariner). Witnessed by John Thomas Bing & Elizabeth Frances Horne[5]

Henry George died in 1885 in Charlton, Kent, England[6]
