Edward Georg Hermann Horn was born 24 November, 1899 in Graham Lakes Township, Nobles County, Minnesota, the second child of Karolina (Lena) Dierks and Leonard Philip Horn.
On 26 December 1923 he married Wanda Blondina Augusta Gehl, a daughter of Alvina Marie Catherine Rodenburg and Wilhelm Heinrich Gehl, in Fulda, Murray County, Minnesota. They had two sons.
Edward passed away on 30 August 1981 and is buried in Denver Colorado.
