Elliott David Hornbeck was born about 1830 in Kentucky. [citation needed]

Elliott Hornbeck married Minerva Jane Barber in Bath, Kentucky on November 12, 1849[1][2][3]

Elliott and his wife stayed in Bath, Kentucky after their marriage next to her parents Landon Barber and Sarah Atchison.[4]

Elliott moved his family to Mason, Kentucky sometime after 1850. Five children were born before the 1860 United States Census was taken.[5]

  1. Elliotts middle name appears as David on two records for his children. No documentation his middle name is Darnell yet.[7][7]
