Sarah Horncastle was born about 1829 in Hull, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom, daughter of Thomas Horncastle (1796–1883) and Sarah Hill (1796–1877).
Sarah (20) married Samuel Beswick (26) (born about 1823 in England; son of Samuel Beswick and Anne (Cockerill) Beswick) in 1850 in Hull. T
heir known daughter was Sarah Anne Cockerill Beswick (~1852 – null).
Sarah died on March 23, 1881 in New Zealand, aged about 52.
