William Horne was a convict sent to Van Diemans Land for Life. He left Portsmouth on 24 April 1803 onboard 'The Calcutta'[1]
On 22May 1809 William married Hannah Reardon in Hobart Town,by Banns. Neither could write so made their mark on the licence.[2]
William Horne was 87 years of age when he died on 16 April 1847 is occupation was that of a butcher. Cause of Death was 'Atrophy.'[3]
