Michael Mollis was born about 1845 in Frankfurt, Prussia, Germany as the third child of George Horner and Susanna Faught Horner. He had two siblings, namely: Adam, and Anna M.and a ½ brother, John Peter. He died on 29 Jul 1928^[1][2][3] in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia. When he was 27, he married Mary Ann Reynolds, daughter of Peter Reynolds and Margaret Horringan, on 03 Jul 1872^[4] in Warwick, Queensland, Australia.

Michael Mollis arrived in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 23 May 1855 (Aboard the German Immigrant Ship Peru). He was naturalized on 03 Dec 1909^[5] in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia. He was buried on 30 Jul 1928 in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia.
