Scott Jay "Doc" Horowitz (born March 24, 1957) is a retired American astronaut.

1957 Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
1978 Bachelor of Science in Engineering, California State University.
1979 Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology.
1982 Doctorate in Aerospace Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology.
1983 Undergraduate Pilot Training, Williams Air Force Base. During his Air Force career, he was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal (1996), the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal (1997).
