John Horsburgh, Baillie of Peebles son of John Horsburgh and [ [Rutherford-137|Catherine Rutherford]] He married Janet Dickson He was baillie 1558-1570, treasurer 1560-62 and councillor 1562-64 of Peebles, appeared armed at the wappinschaw of 1572 and sat on the assize that tried the assassins of Provost John Dickson in July 1572).
