Research Note

The designation of "Category: Unknown Utah Mormon Pioneer Overland Travel Company 1863" may be in error. I could not locate Alice in that company on the LDS Pioneer Overland Travel 1847-1868 database. I did, however, find what appears to be her parents, Thomas William Horsley (b. 1840. d. 1899) who traveled with Sophia Edghill Horsley (Age: 20) and Cyrus Arthur Horsley (Age: 1) in the John R. Murdock Company (1862) - https://history.lds.org/overlandtravel/pioneers/28622/thomas-william-horsley. Perhaps Alice was simply left off the company roster, but it should be noted that she was definitely not located in the Unknown 1863 company. Linda Green Cox-14880, Mar. 2018
