William Horton (son of Daniel, grandson of John, ...Joseph, ...Barnabas) was referred to as Judge William Horton in "The ancestors and descendants of Isaac Horton of Liberty, New York", a position her served 1797-1801 in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County. He was once also commissioner of highways. In 1798 he represented the county in the state legislature. [5]
Marriage date of 1768 noted, stated "Both Mr. and Mrs. Horton were active workers in the Baptist church, and the entire family held membership in the same. Followed by list of children.
