Biography

Violet was the youngest born child of William Horton and Eliza Hockey of Blenheim.

In 1926 she married Irish born John Agar, Clerk of Blenheim.

Violet and John spent about 10 years in Blenheim before heading north and eventually settling in Auckland.

Violet died in Auckland age 89 in 1964.[1]
