Mary Horton was born on July 13, 1726, in Southold, New York to Caleb Horton and Phebe Terry.[1][2] She married her second cousin, Richard Terry, son of Richard Terry Sr. and Martha Paine, on June 10, 1745, in Suffolk County, New York[3][4]. The couple emigrated to Morris County, New Jersey about 1758 and four of their eight children were born in New Jersey. Mary died on November 16, 1807, in Chester, New Jersey, having lived a long life of 81 years, and was buried there.[5]
Richard Terry, probably married Mary Horton on 10 June 1745 in Southold.[6]
He was not the Richard Terry who died testate in 1768, leaving a wife Martha.[7]

Mary Terry (d 1836), probably their daughter, may be one of the two Crumbled stones on the left. No readable inscriptions.[8]
