Horton was born in 1798 in Hebron, Connecticut, the son of Sampson Horton and wife Lucy Phelps.[1] NOTE that Horton's birth occurred in Hebron.
He married Polly Tryon 7 Mar 1822 in Glastonbury.[2] Both were "of Glastonbury".
He died, aged 30, in 1828.[3][4] He is buried in Section 2 of the Old Church Cemetery in Glastonbury, amongst a number of other Hubbell graves.
