Biography

Nancy Adeline Horton was born 28 Mar 1855. She said she was born on a boat from "Georgia to this country." When I used to register to vote, I'd have to tell them where my parents were born. They guy would say, "Where at in Georgia?" And I'd say, "How do I know, that boat was goin' down the river!" ^[1]

She died April 20, 1938, in Lane, Oregon.^[2] She was buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Oakland, Douglas County, Oregon, USA.^[3]
