Curly Howard, born Jerome Lester Horwitz, is a national treasure. One of the original three stooges, his comedy, based on vaudevillian humor, has stood the test of time. He remains immensely popular sixty years after his death.

Curly is one of five brothers born in Brooklyn, NY to parents of Lithuanian Jewish ancestry. Although never completing high school or taking acting lessons, Curly was a natural talent. His ability to ad lib was legendary and directors loved him for it. He went on to make many successful films with his brothers as the Three Stooges. To this day you can still hear people imitate his trademark "Nyuck Nyuck Nuck", "Woob Woob Woob" or "Soitenly".
