Obituary transcript: Mrs. Laura V. Lawrence, wife of John Lawrence, 411 Jefferson street, died at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon [21 April 1931] at her home from pneumonia, aged 55 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Bessie King, this city, and two brothers, William Hose, Harrisburg, Pa., and Roy Hose, this city. Funeral services Friday [24 April 1931] from the home at 2:30 o'clock; services at the house by Rev. Dr. F. Berry Plummer. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery.[4]
