Obits; Liberty woman dies in one-vehicle wreck Kansas City Star, The (MO) | 2 May 1992 Virginia Irene Lippincott, 68, Gladstone, died April 30, 1992, at North Kansas City Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Newcomer's White Chapel; graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry, Mo. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the Springvale Academy, Owosso, Mich. Mrs. Lippincott was born in Stanberry and had lived in this area since 1953. She was a secretary at the Church of God (Seventh Day) Publishing House in Stanberry from 1942 to 1944 and also was central district secretary for the church. She ran the nursery at Antioch Lanes and later provided day care for children in her home, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Church of God (Seventh Day). Survivors include her husband, Lee Lippincott of the home; a son, Robert Dale Lippincott, O'Fallon, Mo.; three daughters, Sandra Lee Parish, Brighton, Colo., Mary Jane Werley, Owosso, and Patricia Ann Johnston, Claremore, Okla.; her mother, Ida Hoskins, and a brother, Lee Hoskins, both of Emporia, Kan.; a sister, Linda Guerrant, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
