Abel Hosmer was born on March 27, 1747 in Concord, Massachusetts. His parents were Josiah Hosmer and Hannah Wesson. [1]

Abel Hosmer of Templeton was a minuteman in the American Revolution, serving in Capt. Joel Fletcher's company, Col. Ephraim Doolittle regt. [3] [4] [5] [6]

He died on November 02, 1832 in Frankfort, Waldo County, Maine. [citation needed]
