  3. Source: #S465 Page: Closely following the birth of 1912, death has removed one of our eldest citizens--Emeline Wilkerson, the last survivor of the children of Conrad House and Lucinda Round, his wife, who was born in 1822, and arriving at young womanhood married Monroe, one of the sons of Johnathan Wilkerson, their neighbor of those early days. After residing for a few years in the log house by the creek, they took possession of the frame house 60 years ago in which they passed the remainder of their lives, caring for their father and mother. Thus her entire life of almost 90 years has been passed within two miles of her birthplace. She is survived by four of their seven children, Orrin D., George N., Mrs. Annie Waterman and Freeman E. Wilkerson and four grand-children. Funeral service will be held at her late home Wednesday at 1 p. m., and interment will be in the family plot at Jordanville.
