Biography

Maude was born on 22 September 1877 in Blairsville, Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA. She was the daughter of Jacob Neil Houser and Catherine Narcissa Gray.[1][2][3][4]

Harry Livingston Richardson married Clarissa Maude Houser on 14 November 1895 in Blairsville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The couple had 4 children: Roy Robert Richardson, George Neal Richardson, William Lawrence Richardson and Albert Burl Richardson.[5][6][7]

In the 1900 census Maude (age 22) was living in Indiana Township, Indiana, Pennsylvania.[8][9]

In the 1910 census Maude (age 32) was living in Stoney Creek, Cambria, Pennsylvania.[10][11]

Maude died at the age of 92 on 24 April 1970 in Johnstown, Cambria, Pennsylvania.[12]

(Gray) Houser. Preceded in death by husband, Harry L., Sept. 28, 1954. Survived by these children: Robert Roy, Johnstown RD 3; George N., 1001 Bedford St, William L., 355 Boise St, with whom she resided; Albert B. Seward RD 1; and Mrs. Nellie Piper, Blairsville; also 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. Member of the Beulah United Methodist Church and Volunteer Bible Class. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Geisel Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Budd R. Smith assisted by the Rev. Boyd E. Coleman. Interment, Blairsville Cemetery.
