Abby was born in 1894. She is the daughter of William Houser and Alma Coover. Abby lived most of her life in Cambridge, Nebraska, living on a farm southwest of Cambridge with her husband. Obituary: Abby Houser Wolfe was born near Hastings, Nebraska, on August 7, 1894, a daughter of William and Alma Houser, and died on November 25, 1959, at the Camrifge Memorial Hospital after a short illness, at the age of 65 years, 3 months, and 18 days.

As a child she moved with her family to Trenton, Nebraska, and shortly after, her mother died, on March 17, 1904.

In the spring of 1911, she moved with her father and two sisters to Cambridge (Nebraska), where she spent the remainder of her life.

After graduating from the Cambridge High School in 1913, she taught school for one and a half years. She was married to John Wolfe on December 28, 1914, and to this union was born one son, Roscoe, of Wilsonville, Nebraska.

She enjoyed home, family and friends. She was an active member of Willing Workers Club of her beloved neighborhood at the time of her passing.

Preceding her in death were her father, mother, one brother, and four sisters.

Surviving her are: her husband, John; son Roscoe and his wife of Wilsonville; two grandsons, Arlen, and his wife of Spanaway, Washington, and Gale of Denver, Colorado; two sisters Amy, Mrs. E.G. Davies, of San Leandro, California, and Lois Houser of Cambridge; one great-grandson, Carl; many nephews, nieces and friends.

Funeral Services were held Friday afternoon, November 27, in the Congregational church in Cambridge.
