Biography

James was born about 1845. He was the son of Hugh Houston and Anne Craig. James commonly used the name JD Craig Houston.

James was minister of the Coventing Church, Knockbracken, Newtownbreda.

In 1874 at St Marys Bolton, London, James married Mary Francis, daughter of William Harvey of Torquay, Devonshire, and Harriet Ingram[1][2].

In 1912, he was minister in Hyde Park, Belfast[3][4].

He passed away in 1935[5][6] and was buried in the Commoney Graveyard, Newtownabbey, County Antrim, Ireland[7].
