Biography

Lucy was born about 1810. She was the daughter of Placebo Houston and Elizabeth Young. She passed away about 1872.

In the 1850 census Lucy (age 40) was in District 23, Cooper, Missouri, United States.[1]

In the 1860 census Lucy (age 50) was in Blackwater, Pettis, Missouri.[2]

Lucy died in 1872 and was buried at Fairview Cemetery.[3]

Lucy received a gift by deed of gift from her father, 3 slaves who would have become property of her husband.

  • In 1834, Kizzie, a negro girl about 12 years old
  • In 1841, Casy a negro girl about 14 years old
