Hovey-2355 and Hovey-1804 appear to represent the same person because: Same person.
posted by Nick Dann
It appears that this Fred W. Hovey is the same person as Hovey-2355. The following should be noted:

1. Date of birth varies. Daniel Hovey genealogy shows 11 Dec 1867; 1900 US Census shows Dec 1868. Both show Monson as birthplace. 2. Daniel Hovey genealogy shows Fred W. Hovey as "physician", which would be in error. His brother Robert Ferry Hovey was apparently the phyiscian, as noted in Fred's obituary where he leaves his brother, Dr. R. F. Hovey.
