Lilian and Leighton did divorce, and Lillian lived with Gerald Brooks for over 30 years in a common law marriage. They moved in with her granddaughter, Joyce Flewelling Yoney. Gerald passed with stomach cancer, and Joyce moved to the US. Lillian remained with her great-granddaughter, Robena Yoney, until her death from pneumonia in 1993. This is known by me, as Robena's sister.
