According to vital records of Windham, Connecticut, Elizabeth Hovey, daughter of John and Susannah, was born in Windham on 15 January 1743/4.^[1] This may be her baptism date, as the records of the Hampton (Connecticut) Congregational Church show that Elizebeth Hovey, daughter of John and Susanna, was baptized there on 15 January 1744.^[2] At the time, Hampton was in the town of Windham.

Elizabeth Hovey married Stephen Clark in Canterbury, Connecticut, on May 9, 1770.^[3]
