John Howe was born in Ipswich, Mass 17 April 1671, he married Hannah of unknown ancestry, perhaps a sister of Nathaniel Brown of Haverhill, Mass.[1][2] James died 22 May 1697.[3] Children were:
Martha, b. 13 June 1691
Sarah, b. 8 Feb 1692-3, who married Thomas Wood, son of Samuel and Margaret (Elithorpe) Wood. She had a son Thomas Wood.
James, b. 29, Mar 1694-5, married Hannah Faulkner and lived in Methuen[4]
