Thomas Meadow Howard aka Thomas Meadow (or sometimes Meadows) was born in 1816 in Churchtown, North Meols, Lancashire, England. His parents were Thomas Meadow and Ellen Howard, who were not yet married.
Thomas Meadow Howard, illegitimate son of Thomas Meadow & Ellen Howard, was baptised on 4 Mar 1816 at St Cuthbert in Churchtown - his abode was Church Town and his father's occupation was Weaver.[1][2]
Thomas' parents Thomas Meadow & Ellen Howard were married on 22 Sep 1817 at St Cuthbert, Churchtown.[3][4]
Thomas used both surnames - his marriage and death were recorded with Howard, while census records have Meadow/Meadows.
Thomas Howard, Weaver, married Ellen Aughton, Spinster, on 17 Jan 1837 at St Cuthbert, Churchtown - witnesses were Henry Meadows & W Rushton.[5][6]
Thomas and Ellen had ten children [some of their births were registered with the surname Howard, and some with Meadow/Meadows - listed here as they were registered]:

Research Notes
Thomas has often been associated with a burial date of 13 Dec 1880. However, this burial belonged to a separate man named Thomas Howard of a similar age who was buried with his wife Phoebe at St. Cuthbert's Churchyard (see https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LCXN-KW1).
