Joseph Howard was born in 1720 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.^[1]

His father was Joseph Howard, b. 1676, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, d. 23 Jul 1736, "Howard's Inheritance" Anne Arundel County, Maryland - Probate (Age 60 years). His mother was Margery Keith, b. Abt 1680, Stafford County, Virginia, d. 1739, Anne Arundel County, Maryland (Age ~ 59 years). They were married 28 Sep 1708 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland ^[1]

Joseph Howard, the youngest son of Joseph Howard and Margery Keith, was born approximately 1720. ^[2]

About 1744 in Anne Arundel County he married Margaret Williams, b. 16 Jan 1727/28, Queen Anne Parish, Prince George's County, Maryland, d. Aft 1762, Anne Arundel County, Maryland (Age > 35 years) ^[1]
