Their son Ephraim Howard built a house on the property in the middle or late 18th century. [2]

1884 Howard's Resolution becomes Glenelg

In 1884, an additional section was added on to the front of the house. The newer front section was built by General Joseph Tyson, Assistant Postmaster General under President John Tyler. General and Mrs. Tyson called their home "Glenelg" after an old estate in Scotland and "because it spelled the same from either end" — in other words, a palindrome. Although historically not a true manor house, what is today known as "Glenelg Manor" forms the nucleus of a sprawling structure, which houses the Glenelg Country School elementary division.[2]

Hello Jack. A good while back, you had suggested that I work on Henry, before adding my ancestors, John Beale Sr. and Jr. Anyway - last night, I went to add Vachel as a son, and noticed that the format had been changed. It had acknowledgments below the source (I think it is supposed to go at the end of the Bio) - and it had two Source headers (both followed by the reference self-closing tags), and other strange stuff. Not sure when that happened, but i fixed it up to follow the style guides, and centered and numbered nome stuff. Hope it looks okay to you.

Thanks. Looks like there may have been a merge where the two sets of data hadn't been completely integrated. Proper order of the top level headings should be Biography, Research Notes, Sources, and Acknowledgements at the end. Research Notes, in my mind, should be mostly the controversial and uncertain stuff, the will and other info can be integrated into the biography section. And don't need two lists of children, but we do need, if we can get it, citations documenting why each child belongs in the family!

Margaret Keith could not be The mother of Henry Howard (1703-1778). His mother is Hannah Dorsey who died in1705.
posted by Raegena Munford
You are correct. Hannah Dorsey, Henry's mother, died when he was an infant. Henry's father remarried twice, and Margaret Keith was Henry's stepmother for most of his growing up. The biographical narrative has been corrected.
