Mary Ann Howard was the daughter of Claiborne Howard and Salley Martin. She was born in 1795 in NC and went on to marry Quaker Minister, Wiliam Tulbert, and a brother to her sister Elizabeth's husband, James Tulbert. She lived a pretty full life, and wound up in Iowa by 1860, maybe even a few years earlier than that.
