Thomas Howard and Ann Highland were married after banns at St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey, Surrey on 19th February 1823.[4] They were both of the parish. Thomas was a bachelor whilst Ann was a widow*. They both signed their own names on the register and the witnesses to the marriage were Elizabeth Venn and John Wheeler.
The image of the marriage record shows that Ann Highland was a spinster [1]
