Ann was born in 1650. She was the second daughter of Charles Howard, the first Earl of Carlisle, and Anne Howard
She was married in 1670 to Sir Richard Graham Bart., later first Viscount Preston, in Hinderskelf, Yorkshire, England. [1]
Note
It is interesting to note that the wedding took place in Hinderskelf (also known as Henderskelfe) the village that was demolished later in order to build Castle Howard. The Carlisle branch of the Howard family had owned property in Henderskelfe since the 1570s, and they may have lived there rather than in Naworth in Cumberland. [2]
Research Note
Despite the very specific date for her death quoted by many records (November 20 1737), I have not been able to locate a source for this.
