Henry Howard, 7th Duke of Norfolk was born on 11 January 1653/54/55. He was the son of Henry Howard, 6th Duke of Norfolk and Lady Anne Somerset. He married Mary Mordaunt, Baroness Mordaunt, daughter of Henry Mordaunt, 2nd Earl of Peterborough and Lady Penelope O'Brien, on 8 August 1677. He and Mary Mordaunt, Baroness Mordaunt were divorced on 11 April 1700 on the grounds of her adultery with Sir John Germaine, 1st Bt.[1] He died on 2 April 1701 at age 47.
He gained the title of 16th Baron Furnivall. He succeeded to the title of 7th Duke of Norfolk in 1684.
