Biography

John was born about 1818 in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England.

John married Sarah Esther Phillpott on the 6th July 1846 at St. James, Westminster, Middlesex, England. John Howden, bachelor, Carpenter of Marshall Street, son of George Howden (Weaver, deceased) and Sarah Esther Phillpott, spinster, of Marshall Street, daughter of Thomas Phillpott (Town Crier). Witnessed by George Kennard Phillpott and Sophia Fasham[1]

He passed away in the 6th February 1864 at West Wickham, Kent, England[2].

Probate was granted on the 2nd April 1864 at the Principle Registry to Sarah Esther Howden of West Wickham, widow and sole executrix[2].
