Biography

Birth and Life

Harold was born 7 June 1911 in Gilmore City, Humboldt, Iowa. He was the son of George Howe and Lola Fargo and was their eldest child. He joined the United States Navy in 1930, although his discharge date has not been found yet.[1] He enlisted in Dixon, Lee, Illinois. Harold married Eileen Whalley on 1 March 1935 in San Joaquin, California.[2] He never had children with Eileen, but he did adopt two of her three children. [citation needed] He was a freight handler for the railroad at the time of his death.

Death and Burial

Harold died on 9 Feb 1942 in Sacramento, Sacramento, California.[3] He was buried in East Lawn Memorial Park in Sacramento, California.[4]
