Edgar was born April 13, 1901 in St. Martin's, New Brunswick. He was a son of Charles Wallace Howe and Phoebe Jane (Beers) Howe.[1] Their family lived in St. Martins Parish, Saint John, New Brunswick where his father was a painter.[2]
He moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1924 where he married Rosaline Corvec, a daughter of Joseph Corvec and Julia (Desvanx) Corvec. She was 21 at the time and had been born in Welford, New Brunswick. Rosaline worked there as a candy packer; Edgar was a painter.[3]
Edgar passed away on May 27, 1987 and is interred at the Mosher Hill Cemetery in St. Martin's, New Brunswick.[4]
