Biography

Born in Vernon, Vermont 21 Dec 1825. He married 24 Oct 1853 Louse J. Russell. They had six children. He was a civil engineer and lived in Providence, Rhode Island. In 1879 he was appointed and commissioned brigade engineer of Rhode Island militia, a position he held for many years. In 1884 he was appointed instructor and inspector of rifle practice for the Rhode Island militia. He died in Providence 31 Dec 1894.[1]
