Vital records for Sandisfield, Berkshire, Massachustts lists the marriag of a Silas Howe and Susannah French on 14 April 1769.[2] This is another possibiliity for Silas' wife, although Susannah Franklin is more likely, due to location and Canaan, Connecticut where Silas lived before moving to Vermont, and the similarity of names of Susannah's mother Keziah Franklin and daughter Keziah Howe.
