Biography

Born in Sharon, Vermont 13 July 1800.[1] The family moved across the border into Quebec about 1804. He married Lucinda Humphrey in Quebec 18 May 1826. The marriage certificate lists them both as residents of Barnston, Memphremagog, Quebec. They were married in the nearby Church of England, Hatley, Memphremagog, Quebec, Canada.[2] Their children were born in Canada, and they later moved to Ithaca, Richland, Wisconsin, where he died 19 Jan 1877. He is buried in the Willow Valley Cemetery in nearby Aubrey, Richland, Wisconsin.[3]
