Biography

Craig was born in Des Moines, Polk, Iowa on Nov 23, 1943. He is the first born child and son of Carl Howe and Erma Johnson. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army (Reserve). Craig married first, Linda A. Snow, in Reno, Clark, Nevada in 1968. He divorced Linda and married second, Terrina M. Sperlock, in Sparks, Washoe, Nevada. He divorced Tina in 1997. There were no children from either of his marital unions. Craig died from the effects of Lung Cancer in San Diego, San Diego, California on 19 Aug 2001 at age 57. In a bit of irony; upon his death, both Craig and his father were at the same age when they died. Both had been afflicted with lung disease related to smoking cigarettes. Craig was afforded full military honors as his ashes were scattered at sea off of the San Diego Coastline. He was taken to his resting place by the crew of the U.S.S. Bunker Hill (CG-52), a U.S. Navy Guided Missile Cruiser.
