Biography
Catherine was born in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts on 19 Aug 1804. She is the ninth born child and third (known) daughter of Eleazer Howe and Caty Barnard.[1][2] She married Ebenezer B. Gale of Gilmanton, N. H. in Boston on 14 May 1829[3][4] They had at least one daughter, Mary C. Gale. b. abt 1830 in Boston. Mary never married and died at the age of 38 on 1 Aug 1868 in Worcester, Massachusetts.[5] Ebenezer died in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts on 7 Jun 1863; Cate's death date and place of death are currently unknown.
