Born in Hopkinton, New Hampshire 15 Oct 1771, the son of Peter and Elizabeth Howe. He married Elizabeth Fitts, born about 1772, and lived in Enfield, New Hampshire, where he was a farmer. He died there 6 Nov 1856. They had six children in Enfield:
Elizabeth (Howe) Pattee, born about 1801, who married Sylvanus Barnard Patty. She died 3 Oct 1848.

Calvin Howe, born about 1806
Luther Howe, birth unknown, married Elizabeth Choate in 1832. The had a son Charles.
Nathaniel Howe, born about 1811
Thomas F. Howe, born 4 July 1813.
