Christening Record - George was christened on 19 June 1884, at the age of 9 years old and on the same day as his 13 years old sister Eugenie.
George shows up in the 1881 census - which means he was not born in 1884. He was listed as being 6 years old, which gives us a year of birth of 1875.
By 1891 George was aged 16 and was the only child still living at home with his mother. He stated that his occupation was that of a "Self Help Brigade".
